Peter's Dungeness
07.03.21
Peter Marlow first visited Dungeness in 1996 on an assignment from The Independent. Peter was there to document Mrs Thomas vacating her home she had resided in for the past 50 years, Lloyds Cottage. As a leaving gift Mrs Thomas was given a photograph of the power stations, in an informal ceremony attended by her close family.

On location Peter noticed the Coastguards vacating their tower and after enquiring found out they were relocating and the tower was now vacant.

Captivated by the distinctive and mesmerising landscape Peter and his partner Fiona Naylor purchased the Coastguard Lookout Tower and proceeded to converted it into a studio and family base during the early 2000's.
