Thanks to National Lottery Heritage Fund the Chapter House underwent extensive renovation to protect and preserve the beautiful medieval stone carvings, 'The Leaves of Southwell', so that it could continue to be enjoyed by generations to come. The Chapter House is the boasts the largest stone vaulted ceiling without a central support column. The light filters into the space and through the huge stain glass windows the exhibition appears to take a new form.
